What about Zero Zero? Anybody know where they went?
I know Stevie Docherty joined SAHB for a brief period, Andy McCafferty called himself Tantrum and played the same guitar solo in every song with the Almighty and that John MacMillan had a band called the Whole Earth.
Anybody any ideas as to what any of them are doing right now?

I haven't heard from Stevie for years and would love to know what he is up to know.
He had a great voice, cool stage presence and was a talnted songwriter.
I worked with him during his brief spell with Underhand Jones and then helped in his Zero Zero days.
Lost touch with him when nhe went South.

I think Andy works for South Lanarkshire Council as a project worker. He was certainly working in the wee community recording studio in Blantyre the last time I saw him. fergy

I used to have a few Zero Zero tracks on an old C90 I saw Stevie with the SAHB(Party boys) many a time. I also managed to catch him in a band called "Monkey See" I think that Tantrum dude was in the band as well.
He always put on a good show!

God, I had completely forgot about them! I don't think that they lasted any length of time however. jim

'lo
I can say with confidence that tantrum is now the manager of a youth project outside glasgow and can still tear up a guitar. Thankfully, he doesn't have girly hair anymore but he does like Take That. So...swings and roundabouts.
I have a question. Does anyone know why his name was tantrum? I've asked him several times but he tends to avoid it, whether out of embarrassment or laziness i don't know. It'd be nice to know the story behind it because, knowing him, it's not something he'd call himself.
Kirsty, daughter of Tantrum

Very cruel! Not disagreeing, just saying it's very cruel! Kermit wrote:Does anyone know why his name was tantrum?
Surely, it was because "Tantrum" sounds a bit more rock 'n' roll than Andy McCafferty? braz
