Tom Sawyer have changed their name to RUSH UK!

According to South Lanarkshire Council RUSH UK are confirmed for a gig in Hamilton Town House theatre on Friday 9th October. This is a big 900 seat venue so hopefully this will go well?

There's also talk of the band playing at the next 96.3 Rock Radio gig, Monsters Of Mock 2, which should take place around the end of April.

Hi

We thought a more 'obvious' name for the band was in order hence the change. We might now strike a chord with people who are maybe not so clued up on Rush songs titles!

The tomsawyer.org.uk URL will stay though as so many pople have it bookmarked and the site will be incorprating other things over time too.

I have received the contract for the Hamilton gig so all is looking well for that.

I'm just waiting for further confirmation of Monsters but should get something soon.

Certainly looking forward to getting back up to Glasgow that for sure. Hopefully we'll see lots of familiar faces.
