did anyone ever go in the marsbar just across from the then jamaica inn,i used to go there in 77 and one of the 1st bands i saw was johnny and the selfabusers....later "simpleminds"! also the actor peter capaldi who used to sing in a trendy art school punk band called the dreamboys,there was also the jolt and pf release,some brilliant nights in there,it shut round about 79-80 because the company that made marsbars sued them! lol.
