Images should be a maximum of 800 pixels on the largest side and should ideally be at the proper screen resolution of 72ppi.

All images should be hosted on an external internet hosting site or other website - you cannot upload images directly to the forum! There are plenty of FREE photo hosting services available all over the internet!

All links to images must be enclosed in IMG tags to be displayed correctly on the forum. The most common mistake when trying to link to images is to forget to include the forward slash "/" in the closing IMG tag! i.e. [/IMG]

We recommend PhotoBucket:- http://www.photobucket.com for hosting your images, although there are many other similar free services throughout the internet.

PhotoBucket make it very easy to post images to the forum by providing the necessary link to the required IMG Code in a box below your photo on the PhotoBucket website. The IMG Code link that you want starts with a tag like this - [IMG] This is the final option when viewing your images on PhotoBucket - clearly marked IMG Code (see the image below)!

Here's an example using PhotoBucket:
Image

Click on the link in the IMG Code box and it will be highlighted. Press Ctrl + C to copy the link. Go to your post on the forum and paste the link (Ctrl + V) where you want the image to appear, as below:

Image

It's as easy as that and most other hosting sites have a similar method of generating the IMG code.

You can also link directly to images on other websites by simply enclosing the link to the image within IMG tags. However, you should only do this with the permission of the site owner and/or the copyright holder. (Also refer to the previous forum message Photo Posting Rules.)

If anyone has any problems with images just let us know and we'll try and help you out!
