Something that would possibly be useful would be an index of Scottish rock bands with web links and contact details etc?

For what purpose? Gig bookings?
What level of band are you looking for - everything from just starting out covers bands to signed bands?

Good idea as there's never been a proper Scottish band index or site.
I know that a few have tried it but unfortunately they always seem to attract a load of wee unknown bands with "hotmail" contacts that never work.
How you'd get round that I don't know but it's worth pursuing if you can keep it up to date.
