out of interest I looked up some old memorabilia...in the early 80's the band I was in (Red Ellis) had a set list of 54 songs! Even in La Paz we played about 25-30 in any one night. Recently the bands I have seen were doing about 90 minutes tops in one session. Changed days...but this is not a "them were the days" comment. We were only getting about £20 a night back then and nowadays bands get a decent rate as far as I can tell. More money for less work has to be a good thing! Nostalgia isn't what it used to be thank god...
