Copyright law is complex and if you are unsure if you hold the copyright for any image then you probably don't.

Just because you are in a photograph or because you paid a photographer to take a photograph does not mean that you have any right to publish it to the forum as the photographer is usually the copyright holder!

In the olden days photographers usually retained any negatives after their assignments thereby ensuring that they got paid every time a copy of an image was printed. Now, with digital imaging being the norm, photographers will usually specify "licensing" arrangements detailing where, when and how often the image is used to ensure that they still receive the appropriate payments.

However, usually all you have to do is ask the photographer and most will be happy to allow use of their images in online forums etc as long as you don't edit the image or remove any of their logos or credits.

Any images deemed to be of an offensive or pornographic nature will be removed and the posts deleted without warning!
