Hey there. My band Placid Trip [www.myspace.com/placidtripmusic]
are competing online for the chance to play Edinburgh Corn Exchange this month. The voting system is awful however - you have to rate out of five stars for a band.
Predictably this leaves it wide open for bands to simply bash and bash all the other bands with one star votes from all their friends, racking up their own 5 star votes in the process.
My band are struggling to find votes and, after being in the top 3, have been knocked right down. I am of the opinion that we are at least on par with the band currently sitting in top spot. This may sound extremely big headed, but i'm really just trying to provoke you to go compare. If you could give us 5 stars, we shall love you forever.
Our debut E.P. is also out now by the by.
