What do you think about gigs in the Garage?

Another good venue if there is a decent band playing.
The Rock Radio shows in there have been great.
G2 downstairs is a good wee place too.
Saw The Automatic there recently and it was good atmosphere.

Mind you, it was kickin when it was The Mayfair and The venue . . . . . . . .

The Rock Radio gigs were great but as soon as they finished you were rushed out the door by the bouncers!

All the modern gigs are devoid of any atmosphere and it's all just seeing how much money they can screw out of you in as little time possible.

There's one thing I noticed about the Garage is that ever since they done it up last year - it seems as though the live sound has got a little bit worse. It's hard to explain, but I know what I mean :P It's nothing to do with the live engineer either it's just the acoustics seem to have changed slightly.

Not bad venue though they do push you out alot cause of the club etc afterwards and too much dry ice used when I've seen bands.
