Afternoon chaps and chappettes, lads and lassies.
I've been trying to promote my music for a good while now but I'm finding it hard, as I don't actually play live. I write and do everything from my bedroom lol.
Anyway, I'm a member of Tunecore and, through them, now have my first album on iTunes and some other places. On their site, they stick some advertising in front of your face for other sites which are useful for people like myself and you for your band or whatever. One site is Jango. It's an online radio station where you can choose what you hear plus the site automatically throws in the odd similar band/artist that's more unheard of than whoever you'll be listening to.
Anyway, I can assure you, I'm not some official person on a mission from the site. I'm not spamming, I honestly think this site is helping me even though I only signed up last Wednesday.
Go have a look...and yes, I shall include my own link! That goes without saying though doesn't it?

For bands to get airplay, you have to pay. The lowest (and what I'm currently doing) is about £6 for 250 plays. If you get 50 "positive ratings" from listeners, your song or songs (still not sure about that at this point) gets included in "general rotation" which I'm assuming means, it'll get played every now and then whether I've paid for it to be played or not.
It's free for ordinary music fans to go and make a station and listen too.
Well worth the look.
Anyway, I hope you people find it useful
