Who's all going to see AC/DC at Hampden then?

After all the pretence about not coming to Scotland is it worth it?

I've been an AC/DC fan for over 30 years but I just can't be bothered with BJ's version of AC/DC any more.

I was fortunate to see them with Bon on two occasions and now you're as well going to see any of the AC/DC tribute acts as paying over the odds for the current AC/DC.

I think most people always knew that they'd do extra dates.

This whole tour has been hyped and promoted to catch the new trendy AC/DC fans who've never been to a rock gig in their lives..

I had to laugh when Robin Galloway from Real Radio was trying to claim that he was going to be "buying" a ticket. How many Glasgow rock gigs have you seen Galloway at?

Then again, how many Glasgow rock gigs have you seen the 96.3 Rock Jocks at? :D

Couldn't agree more. There's all sorts of people at my work bleating on about it and only because they think it's the current cool thing to do.

None of these people have been near a rock gig FHS!

I think it's probably a good thing. Sure, there will be a load of people there who are there just to say they've seen AC/DC but i think it's good for the new generation of fans. I, for example, have liked AC/DC since i can remember but, being so young and gorgeous, i've never had the opportunity to see them live. I can say, and many others may agree, that Angus Young was one of the guitarists that made me want to pick up a guitar.
I know that it's not the same as seeing them in a dive venue with Bon Scott singing but it's a good experience nonetheless. Surely it's worth it for the people that will actually appreciate what they''re seeing and hearing. You can just ignore the rest, they're obviously ignorant ... (can we swear on this forum?) anyway.

Surely if you've never been to a rock gig in your life, AC/DC is a good place to start?

Not much of a rock forum if you can't fucking swear.
